About Us
Ruth Kime

Ruth is a born-again Believer in Jesus Christ. Her Hope of salvation is found in nothing more than Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. Jesus has paid for all her sin, and she Loves Him for it.

Ruth is the wife of James Kime these 23 years and the mother of their seven children. She has spent the last 22 years homeschooling and Discipling each one of them.

Hospitality is dear to Ruth's heart, because it makes others feel loved and welcomed and opens the door for deepening friendships.
She is thankful for each Christian who has discipled her and for each of her friends who she can go to for good counsel. She enjoys discipling other women through Counseling and Bible study. Her counseling techniques align with those of ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors). Ruth studied Biblical Theology at Luther Rice Seminary. Ruth has concentrated her Study on researching End Time events for 16 years.

Ruth's earnest Prayer is that the church of the living God would shine radiantly from the inside out to reflect His Goodness and Glory. Trials will create the Character that will make His bride useful.

What We Believe
We believe it is the responsibility of every follower of Jesus Christ to be well informed and studied in the doctrine of the return of Jesus. This should cause us to live on purpose so that we are not ashamed at His coming.
We should:
-
pursue holiness and spiritual maturity
-
nurture love for God and others
-
study the Bible to discover the truth about the End Times so we will not be confused and fall for lies
-
prepare our minds, emotions, spirits, and bodies to stand firm in the face of certain tribulation

When it comes to End Times it is easy to get lost in all the terminology. We will clearly state our basic position by describing the actual events.

Salvation
Our hope is found in the gospel - Jesus Christ paid for our sins with His death, burial, and resurrection. We receive salvation by trusting that Jesus is the only way to be reconciled to God. Then we repent of our sins and follow Him as our Lord.

Secondary Doctrine
The study of End Times is a secondary doctrine within the church. All believers agree Jesus will return, but they differ on the when and how. This topic can be controversial and lead to heated discussions. We don't break fellowship with those who differ. Is it still important to study? YES. There are many warnings about deception surrounding the End of the Age, so it is crucial that believers seek understanding to guard themselves against the apostasy the Bible clearly states will occur when the Antichrist reigns which will happen prior to the return of Jesus and the rapture and resurrection of all believers.

Millennium
We believe in a literal 1,000 year reign of Jesus Christ that will occur after the End of the Age. We don't believe this is symbolic and don't attempt to spiritualize it because, like John (the author of Revelation), we detest Gnosticism.

Day of the Lord
We believe the Day of the Lord is the day that Jesus returns on the clouds in His literal glorified body. We believe this event will be so obvious and cataclysmic that there will be no question that He has returned. The Bible explicitly states that there will be people who try to deceive and claim He has returned before He actually does. When the Second Coming happens, no one will have to let you know. All will see for themselves.

Rapture
We believe Jesus returns only once - on the Day of the Lord. On the same day that He comes visibly for the entire world to see, the events happen in this order:
-
Jesus comes visibly on the clouds.
-
All believers who have died from Abel to the moment before Jesus' return will be resurrected. Their spirits will be reunited with their physical, but glorified, bodies.
-
All believers who haven't died and have made it to the end of the Great Tribulation will be raptured - meaning they won't have to die. Their body will be transformed into a glorified one.
-
Jesus, the resurrected believers, the raptured believers, and the heavenly angel armies will meet in the sky.
-
Jesus begins His war against the Antichrist and all who oppose Him.

Evidence for this is found in the following Scriptures:
Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, Revelation 7:9-17,
Revelation 20:4-6; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11,
2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

Seals, Trumpets, Bowls
We believe the Day of the Lord and the Rapture are described in Revelation with Seal 6-7 and
Trumpet 7. We have differing opinions about the Bowls. This means we believe there is overlap between the Seal, Trumpet, and Bowl judgements.
